Elise Baxter, recently competed at the 2014 Australian Gymnastics Championships in Melbourne. Her outstanding performance, along with team coach Chris Kanevsky, lead the way for her NSW team to win Gold for the Level 8 Women’s Artistic Gymnastics team event. Breaking a six year drought for a NSW Women’s Artistic team to win a gold at National level.  Elise followed through the next day by winning a gold medal in the vault finals and a bronze medal in the Level 8 all round final. Elise, under the watchful eye of head coach Bill Parsons, has trained at the Academy since she was three.

Another three competitors from the NSW Academy of Gymnastics had standout performances. Kiara Wark and Maddison Daley , both 13, came home with a silver medal for the Level 7 team event. Maddison also won silver for the vault final.   Stephanie Magiros, 23, did an amazing job coming back to Women’s Artistic Gymnastics after a six year break, taking out a bronze for the Level 10 team event and a bronze in the vault finals. Stephanie came back from competing at the Winter Olympics in Sochi for snow boarding and only had eight weeks to train for the Gymnastics Championships

Boys Team at NSW Academy

Our Boys program here at the NSW Academy of Gymnastics

is built to teach young males how to develope their bodies as they grow.

Our focus on boys development allows them to use their knowledge on muscle growth and development to prepare for the challenges in life and to minimise injury.

Our Boy's program allows them to use their minds as well as their bodies to overcome challenges and reach certain goals.
